Bonding with the locals and guides, I discovered a profound reverence for nature and a way of life that celebrated its beauty and respected its dangers. I come from Singapore, a country of buildings, bustle, but limited nature. Their wisdom showed life through a different lens, to find harmony in the chaos of nature.
